Haiti - Agriculture : 6 million Euros for food processing and marketing
Tuesday, December 19, the project "Support for sustainable peasant food production, processing and marketing in the Center department" was signed between the Office of the National Authorizing Officer of the European Development Fund (BONFED-Haiti), the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation, the European Union [funding] and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) [execution in close collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture].

The objective of the project is to contribute to the improvement of production, agricultural transformation, food and nutritional security and the resilience to shocks of vulnerable households in the high plateau of the central department.
