Haiti - Economy : Micro-park in the free zone of Juana Mendez
The Compagnie de Développement Industriel S.A. (CODEVI) located in the free zone of Juana Mendez in Haiti, proceeded to the laying of the first stone of a micro-park, in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Haiti, the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF), the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, IDDI (Instituto Dominicano de Desarrollo Integral), IDHI and the foundation of the Group M to the satisfaction of the community of Ouanaminthe.

CODAVI leaders have stated that the construction of this micro-park was of great importance for the community as it will accommodate a large number of micro-entrepreneurs who offer their services and provide among other foodstuffs for employees and the community.

In addition to having premises and adequate infrastructure, these micro-entrepreneurs will receive training in administration to effectively manage their business while ensuring them a job, by creating a trade group that will contribute to strengthening the economic stability of the community.
