Haiti - Diaspora : Activities January 12, Atlanta, North Carolina, Tennessee
The Consulate General of Haiti in Atlanta informs the Haitian Community of Georgia and other states under its jurisdiction, that activities will be organized as part of the commemoration of the fourth anniversary of the earthquake of 12 January 2010 who made hundreds of thousands of victims in the population and left scars that are still alive in the heart of the Haitian Nation.

Atlanta :
As usual, a memorial service will be conducted Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 6:30 pm, at the local "Good Samaritan Haitian Alliance Church" at 711 Davis Rd Lawrenceville, GA 30045 under the theme "Remember the Fallen". The organizations GHAA, MOI, HANA and many others, have come together to organize an evening of discussion and reflection on what has been done, what remains to be done and hope for what must be done.

North Carolina :
Sunday, January 12, the organization "Haitian Heritage and Friends of Haiti" organized a cultural evening in memory of the victims under the theme "A Culture of Resilience" at "Convenant Presbyterian Church" # 100 East Morehead Street Charlotte, NC 28204. Program: Haitian kitchen, folk dance with drums, Haitian fashion show, silent auction and testimonies on the earthquake. It will also be a fundraising event to build a medical clinic in a rural area of northern Haiti.

Tennessee :
Saturday, January 11, the Haitian community in Tennessee will begin operations with a "Medical Fair" from 4:00 pm to the local "Holy Name Catholic Church," # 521 Woodland Street Nashville, Tennessee to finish Sunday, Jan. 12 with a Mass at 10:30 am, in memory of the missing.

"The Consulate General of Haiti in Atlanta invites the Haitian community and friends of Haiti to actively take part in these activities in memory of the victims but also to strengthen our ties as people united for the sake of our motherland : Haiti."
