Haiti - Diplomacy : Pierre Richard Casimir in Venezuela to pay tribute to Chavez
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Haiti, Pierre Richard Casimir, arrived yesterday, Wednesday in Caracas, Venezuela to participate in the activities of commemorations of the first anniversary of the departure March 5, 2013 of the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chavez and pay tribute to him https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-8024-haiti-flash-president-hugo-chavez-passed-away.html .

Casimir was welcomed at the Simón Bolívar International Airport, Maiquetia, by the Minister of Education Hector Rodriguez.

The Foreign Minister of Haiti has joined other heads of state and of delegations arrived in Caracas to honor Chavez.

Earlier are arrived in Caracas presidents of Cuba, Raul Castro, and of Suriname, Desire Bourtese, while Tuesday came the president of Bolivia, Evo Morales, are also present Regional Vice President of Argentina, Amado Boudou, the alestinian Foreign Minister Riad al-Malki and delegations of islands of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Antigua and Barbuda and St. Lucia.

Recall that a Haitian delegation composed of President of the Republic, the Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe Salvador, as well as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Religious Affairs, Mr. Pierre Richard Casimir had assisted last year in the funeral of late leader of the Bolivarian Revolution.
