Haiti - Tourism : Things are moving everywhere ! 14/03/2014 11:52:00
Thursday, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, for the Ministry of Tourism, the Mayor of Montreal, Denis Coderre and Yves Lalumière the CEO of "Tourism Montreal", signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the implementation of activities for the development of Tourism in Haiti. Delegation of students from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania On Thursday, the Minister Villedrouin hosted a student delegation from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania led by Nohémie Sanon, of Haitian origin. Ms. Villedrouin took the opportunity to make the presentation of the progress of the tourism sector in Haiti. Working session with "Atout France" Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism participated in a working session with "Atout France" on the implementation of an action plan for promotional intervention in the North of Haiti. The discussions revolved around marketting strategies, of a general policy and projects in which to invest, in order to promote and manage tourism destinations in the area over the long term. Towards new Taxis in Cap-Haitien International Airport Tuesday, Ms. Dieudonne Luma Etienne, Regional Director North Ministry of Tourism, met drivers Taxi from Cap-Haitien International Airport, on the process of acquiring new cars able to contribute to improve the quality of transport of tourists in the North Destination.
