Haiti - Tourism : Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin very active in Panama
Thursday, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism returned from Panama where Haiti participated (from 1 to 3 April) at the 43rd edition of the World Economic Forum (WEF) on Latin America.

On the sidelines of these multilateral discussions on Latin America, the Minister of Tourism held a working meeting with Copa Airlines. The development strategy of Airports in Haiti, the establishment of a travel package on Haiti by the company, the revision of the ticket price, the introduction of the two official languages ​​of Haiti in the 'forms flight' of Copa Airlines, were, among others, the issues discussed.

In this dynamic, Copa Airlines plans to soon organize a prospecting mission in Haiti with travel agencies, to explore tourism opportunities in the country and analyze the possibility of creating a package for the Latin American market.

Mrs. Villedrouin also met the President of Panama Ricardo Martinelli and Panamanian Chancellor Francisco Soto to follow up of issues already discussed between the two countries.

In addition, Luis Riu, the owner of the RIU Channel has promised to come and see the beaches of the south coast during the month of April, after a meeting with the Minister, who was conducting a brief visit to Playa Blanca Hotel & Resort in the framework of the Forum.
