Horses of the Citadelle marked with Hibiscus
As part of the vision of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Industries to improve the quality of reception of visitors at National Historical Park (Citadelle, Sans Souci, Ramiers) within the Tourist destination par excellence, the North, a group of American Veterinary women went on 7 and 8 Mayto Choiseul to mark of a "Hibiscus" (the logo of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Industries) horses that transport visitors. Under the coordination of "Équitarian-Initiative" and the "Christian Mission", these veterinarians provided care to horses and had working sessions with their leaders and responsible (of horses) on how they should take care of these animals carrying tourists to the Citadelle and Sans Souci Palace. They will return very soon to teach to some some young of Milot, notions in "care-veterinarians" to ensure continuity of work in the area.

Haiti and the Dominican Republic strengthen their cooperation
Thursday, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Industry has signed with his Dominican counterpart, Francisco Javier Garcia, a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen cooperative relations between the two countries. "This new agreement opens the era of technical cooperation in responsible and sustainable tourism, based on equality and mutual benefit," said Minister Villedrouin. For the implementation of the provisions of this MOU, both parties have agreed on the establishment of a work plan to exchange their experiences with respect to investment in tourism, to the promotion of cultural and tourist attractions, quality systems, organization and operation of tourist services. On the sidelines of the signing of the agreement Stéphanie Villedrouin reaffirmed the Government's commitment to improve the image of Haiti in neighboring land has announced the opening of an office to promote tourism in the Dominican Republic.
