Haiti - Diplomacy : Deputy Emmanuel Dubourg visited Ambassador of Haiti 12/05/2014 11:46:31
During their interview the former Liberal deputy for Viau [elected in 2008 and 2012], expressed in particular his desire to contribute as effectively as possible within its sphere of action to strengthen the traditional ties of friendship and cooperation effective between Canada and Haiti, his country of origin. He also expressed an equal interest with respect to its relations with the Haitian community living in Canada. Ambassador Liautaud thanked Emmanuel Dubourg for his courtesy and good arrangements in the place of Haiti and the Haitian community in Canada. At the end of their meeting, the Ambassador of Haiti hoped that, like the Deputy Dubourg [elected November 25, 2013] more compatriots get involved in Canadian politics for the benefit of both countries. It should be noted that the Honourable Emmanuel Dubourg served first in the National Assembly of Quebec as deputy of Viau, before being recently elected to the federal level. HL/ HaitiLibre
