Haiti - Football : Did Bolivia steal the victory to the Haitians? 06/09/2010 14:05:16
Let us recall that Bolivian U-15, gained gold at The Singapore Youth Olympic Games 2010 (YOG) after having gained final 5-0 in Haiti in a cycle of victories which had also integrated Singapore and Montenegro. Matches approved by the "International Federation of Association Football" (Fifa) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Indeed, how to explain the defeats of Haiti 9-0 in match of opening and 5-0 into final against Bolivia with the JOJ, whereas this same Haitian team gained the victory against the other teams that she faced: Haiti Vanuatu (2-1) and Haiti-Singapore (2-0)? CIO has an ethics committee which will have to study thoroughly all the circumstances of this case, to identify the culprits and to decide sanctions". It finds however "unpatriotic" the complaint of Arturo Garcia who would have had, according to him, to call upon justice before the selection and not once Bolivia gained the gold medal. Nobody would like to be instead of Evo Morales Bolivian president which could have to return, in humiliation and shame, a gold medal obtained by the fraud after having accommodated with the Presidential palace the young footballers, new Bolivian heroes, whom it introduced like examples of work and devotion, models for youth in Bolivia.
