Haiti - Chikungunya : Awareness meeting of Mayors, CASECs and ASECS 29/06/2014 09:37:04
This activity, organized by the Ministry of Public Health and Population, was attended by Dr. Florence Duperval Guillaume, the Minister of Health, Réginald Delva, the Minister of Interior and Territorial Communities and officials from the Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP). This activity is part of prevention activities of vector-borne diseases started from the month of March by the MSPP and which have strengthened since the appearance of Chikungunya in the country and also to provide local authorities with the necessary information for a better understanding of the disease. In his speech, Réginald Delva, reminded all development officers the responsibility they have to collect the grievances of the people and pass them to the relevant authorities for action.
