For the 3rd consecutive year, the Foundation for the Development of Chardonnières (Fodech), organizes the Festival of Grape of Chardonnières in the Southern Department. This event aims to promote national culture in general and the revival of the domestic production of grapes in particular, while putting Chardonnières in the spotlight, will be held from 23 to 28 July 2014 with the support of the Knowledge and Freedom Foundation (FOKAL).

Alix Denis Hibarts, the President of Fodech and member and organizer of the festival announced a rich program with lectures, debates, cultural activities, street entertainment and cinema in street. Visitors will be able to visit an exhibition on grapes, the different stages of its culture and its harvest, at 32, street Gaétan at the local of Fodech in Chardonnières.

9,000 people attended the festival in 2013 and this year, the organizers hope to welcome even more festival-goers, the festival coincides with the July 26 date of the Feast of Sainte Anne des Chardonnières, should contribute to drain a lot of guest and festival-goers and vacationers. A campaign of promotion is underway in the media across the country and on social networks.
