Haiti - Elections : Recruitment of 30,000 people for the next elections
Pierre-Louis Opont, the Director General of Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) announced today that the CEP is preparing to recruit 30,000 people to the polls at the occasion of the presidential and legislative elections of November 28.

Pierre-Louis Opont said the recruitment process will take place from September 12 to 23, 2010 and that there will be a public lottery to choose the people (from names submitted by the registered political parties). "In all the regions, we have delegations of the CEP to carry out this operation which will be done in the presence of all the political parties implied in the election" he wished to clarify in concern of transparency.

He also said that in the next days will arrive the electoral material, and that the CEP continues its awareness campaign among voters.
