Haiti - Health : The First Lady, always active on the ground
Tuesday, Sophia Martelly, the First Lady of the Republic, went in the commune Les Irois she visited especially the Health Center before traveling to Divino, Cité Laroque a locality of the commune for a mobile clinic.

During a brief ceremony to mark the delivery of keys of the ambulance at the Health Center, the First Lady urged leaders to make good use of this ambulance "Health is of paramount importance to me. By giving you the key of this ambulance, I invite you to put it at the service of the commune of Les Irois, I said, everyone in need, must benefit from its services."



Thereafter, the First Lady held a mobile clinic in Divino, Cité Laroque an initiative which allowed a 443 people (303 adults and 140 children) to receive free treatment and medicines. Patients whose cases required further medical treatment, were referred to different reference centers, depending on the severity of the cases.

An initiative greeted with enthusiasm and satisfaction by the inhabitants of the commune, which looked forward for the continuity of the action of the First Lady.
