Haiti - Education : President Martelly launches back to school in Léogâne
On Monday, President Michel Martelly and his wife Sophia, Nesmy Manigat, the Minister of Education and Florence Duperval Guillaume, Minister of Public Health, presided the official launching ceremony of the academic year in Léogâne under the theme "Yon lot kalite lekòl pou tout timoun" in the presence of Ivalan Espérance, Departmental Director of West of Education, Gonzague Day, Departmental Delegate of West, officials from three schools and the faculty and executives of the Ministry of Education.

The National School St. Rose of Lima, the National School of Guerin and the High School Anacaona of Léogâne are the three schools visited by the Head of State, who reiterated his determination to support the education sector for all Haitian children have access to quality education.
