Moreover, from October fifty new police vehicles will patrol the main roads, Petion Ville, Delmas and the city center. The presence of these patrols composed of two police officers, will help deter acts of banditry. He also confirmed that the number 114 for the population will be put into operation shortly. Godson Orélus also indicated that the police officers will be equipped with new means of communication secured thanks to a new system that will be implemented. Godson Orélus explained that for lack of resources, such measures can not currently be deployed in the provinces, however, he said that a Special Response Plan, was to be set up in the South, ensuring that it's a priority for him and that he was currently seeking the necessary resources.
