Haiti - Elections : The technology to fight against electoral fraud
Particularly in order to avoid possible fraudulent manipulation of minutes, after counting of votes, the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) is currently studying the possibility of using Information Technology and Communication.

To this end, the CEP is considering receiving from the bureau supervisors, electronically, the voting results, which will allow after counting at the Tabulation Center of the paper version of the minutes, to compare the information with those received electronically and to check whether manipulations were made after the count.

Furthermore, in order to significantly reduce the time, the CEP intends to conduct the registration of candidates online, the latter will have to provide their documents in digital form. CEP indicates that technological tools are ready, adding that the introduction of these online entries, are subject to the approval or not of political parties.
