Haiti - Economy : 2 new Support Service to Enterprise in the North and Centre
After the installation last week, in the Artibonite and Northwest of Support Service to Enterprise (SAE) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-12078-haiti-economy-installation-of-sae-in-artibonite-and-northwest.html Wilson Laleau, Minister of Commerce and Industry, continued this weekend the deployment process of SAEs at the national level, this time in the North and Centre.

Recall that the SAE is a new structure of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, established within the Development Centre of Enterprise and Entrepreneurship, whose mission is to bring all the services of the Ministry designed to businesses at the level of 10 departments . SAE particularly works to support entrepreneurs to register their businesses, identify the most important sectors of production prepare and develop business plans on priority sectors and help companies involved to develop and market their products.

SAE are each composed of a team of five executives: an economist, an agronomist, anengineer-industrial, a lawyer and an accountant, completed by an administrative assistant and a driver. As for all departments of the country, staff were recruited through a transparent and competitive process that was used to select the best candidates from over 1,200 applicants.

Friday in the North, to show the existing partnership between the Ministry and the Chambers of Commerce, this installation ceremony was included as part of the Friday of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Professions of North (CCIPN). The ceremony was held at the Hotel Mont-Joly, in the presence of the Board of CCIPN and its President, Nonce Zéphir, the Departmental Delegate of the North, Ardouin Zéphirin and more than a hundred entrepreneurs and officials.

Saturday in the Centre the installation ceremony was held at the Administrative Complex of Hinche, in the presence of the Departmental Delegate, Georges Garnier, mayors of the majority of communes of the department, the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Professions of the Centre (CCIPC) and its President, Dr. Kyss Jean-Mary and a large delegation of business people in the department.

In his remarks for the occasion, the Minister Wilson Laleau, has, in essence, urged the new executives of MCI to take responsibility that will be nothing less than to become agents of change to impetus from the basis to the national economy by tracking all businesses and sectors with growth potential and mentoring them in order to develop their full potential to contribute to the creation of wealth and jobs and growth.

To date, MCI has already installed SAEs in 7 departments. It remains those of the South-East, South and Nippes whose deployment is scheduled for next weekend.
