Haiti - Politic : The G6 sulks the invitation of the Head of State for the 3rd time 01/10/2014 15:24:15 For the 3rd time, the opposition senators member of G6 [Jean-Baptiste Bien-Aimé (Northeast), Jean-Charles Moïse (North), Francky Exius (South), Westner Polycarpe (North), John Joël Joseph (West) et Jean William Jeanty (Nippes)] were conspicuous by their absence, refusing to meet the Head of State at the National Palace. Like many political organizations of the opposition, that shunning invitations of the Head of State stubbornly demanding his departure. After his meeting, Senator Desras indicated that the Head of State had entrusted him to invite senators of G6 (4th time) on Friday at 1:00 pm, outside the National Palace, in a place remaining to be determined... Me Osner Févry, President of CONACED told that he had asked the President to ensure to have a functional Parliament even after 12 January 2015, pending the newly elected, as had already made the Organization of People in Struggle (OPL) and "Konvansyon Inite Demokratik" (KID), in their proposal to extend the mandates of parliamentarians... Mgr Pierre André Dumas of Religion for Peace said he had made no proposal to end the crisis or asked to mediate, saying he only recommended the continuation of dialogue to find a consensual solution, calling for goodwill and to surpass each player in this crisis. For his part, Bishop of Port-de-Paix, Mgr Pierre-Antoine Paulo, Vice-President of the Episcopal Conference, believes that dialogue remains possible and wished the President Martelly make every effort to meet the opposition, calling like Religion for Peace, all parties to the transcendence...
