Haiti - Politic : «The Syndrome of Cockroach» (editorial)
Dr. Rudy Hériveaux, the Minister of Communication, denounced in an editorial without jargon, an opposition "Incapable of formulate the elements of a serious reflection for the conduct of national destiny" and laments the "sad spectacle almost daily, symptomatic of the stupidity of a certain political class retrograde, frozen in the archaic and old demagogic practices."

Editorial of Minister Hérivaux :
"Engaged in a remarkable transformation dynamics of socio-economic landscape, the Government Martelly-Lamothe has given the country many roads, schools, hospitals, sports, port and airport infrastructures. This performance did not leave indifferent our compatriots. The admiration and respect they express to these many accomplishments through the tribune programs brodcated and on social networks evidence it greatly.

On the other hand, pragmatism and dynamism of the team in power represent a real nightmare for the old guard of the opposition sclerotic, trapped in this unhealthy reflex consisting to swim in the murky waters of destabilization.

Indeed, a kind of mass hysteria took hold the anti-democratic forces in front the performance of the Government Lamothe.

Today we are witnessing of a terrible circus where madness of power coupled with a phobia of elections generate the most irrational behavior and the more disgusting.

The crucial question of amendments to the electoral law that systematically refuses to vote a fringe rebel of the Senate of the Republic, is strangely trivialized by a fauna political that, paradoxically and loudly called for the organization of elections.

Since then, their speech has been radicalized. They decided to lay bare their sordid machinations. Chronic vectors of endemic instability, they reconnect with their favorite exercise : BRUTALIZE THEMSELF IN THE INFERNAL GEAR OF 'RACHE MANYOK'.

Away in a kind of frenzy destructive, these cockroaches are agitated in a disgusting folklore in the streets to try to assauter power. A sad spectacle almost daily, symptomatic of stupidity of a certain political class retrograde, frozen in the archaism and old demagogic practices that have done so much damage to our country.

This pathetic eagerness to want by all means bypass the rules of the democratic game, perfectly illustrates their contempt for the people which in any democracy is always source organic and functional of political power.

Catalysts of intense debate in the Haitian media on the 'usefulness' and 'necessity' of a political chaos, the followers of the politics of the worst reject any call for dialogue and refuse all compromise.

Unable to formulate the elements of a serious reflection for the conduct of national destiny as confirmed by one of their representatives on the waves of Vision 2000 on the show 'invité du jour' of Valéry Numa, they remain attached to poor tactics of blackmail, outbidding by trampling indecently the cardinals principles of Rule of Law and republican values.

In this polluted atmosphere, the President of the Republic wanted to avoid with humility and intelligence the adverse effects of a damaging political crisis. Many concessions have been made so far by the head of state. Discussions of December 24, 2012 that led to the establishment of CTCEP with the mediation of Religion for Peace, the Agreement El Rancho, Best Western, the multiple changes made at the CEP, the enthronement at the head of this institution of a representative of the Legislative power, in short, a commendable openness and an unwavering commitment to preserving Peace, stability and harmony within the large Haitian family.

Yet another invitation was sent to the political parties of the radical opposition. But behind the rebel carapace that makes them resistant to any idea of conciliation, the fiercest opponents and blind prefer to hide behind the walls of demagoguery and mediocrity.
So they decided to embark on this adventure at the end of which awaits a cruel disappointment ...

Haiti will not return back. All political actors should definitely divorce with these harmful practices to embrace political modernity. Our history is crossed by fratricidal struggles, stupid, unnecessary and unhealthy. We have a duty to draw the necessary lessons from the tormented past to open a new page.

This new chapter has opened with President Martelly and Prime Minister Lamothe at the helm of affairs. Despite the many obstacles created by the group of 6 and the hard wing of the opposition, President Martelly continue political consultations in the perpectives of the upcoming electoral contests in Haiti.

In this climate of tension and palpable discomfort, the Head of State demonstrated a remarkable and enlightened leadership. Deeply attached to peace, stability and the principles of good governance, he will make every effort for the elections, the prerequisite for the strengthening of republican institutions and the pursuit of socio-economic recovery of Haiti."
