Haiti - Social : «Orange YOUR Neighbourhood» to end violence against women
The UN appeal "Orange YOUR Neighbourhood", to end violence against women, started Tuesday, with people who will show this color in the whole world, to symbolize the hope for a future free of violence against women and girls.

In Haiti, a series of outreach activities are planned in all departments between 25 November and 10 December, and the United Nations staff, including in uniform, are called to carry the orange color, the color of the international campaign.

"Orange YOUR Neighbourhood" is part of the campaign of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, all UNiTE to End Violence against Women. This theme will accompany the events planned during the 16 Days of mobilization against violence based on gender - which will range from 25 November to 10 December - date of the International Human Rights Day.

LThe celebrations this year will be marked by a call to action to all partners so that they demonstrate their support for the elimination of this pandemic that affects a billion women. The campaign also targets men who have a key role to play as partners and stakeholders in this case.
