Jacmel : Sporting Activities at the seaside
In a context of increasingly attendance of the the seaside boulevard of Jacmel, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Industries (MTIC) has set up sports facilities, accessible to people of all ages, for activities organized daily by clubs and supervised by qualified instructors. Keen to support the sports practitioners, the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC) launches in Jacmel, in early December, the program ""Haiti, Wake, Health". It is in this perspective that a delegation of MJSAC led by Cénatus Eddy Penn, Departmental Director of the Southeast (MJSAC) met Mrs. Dithny Joan Raton, Director of the Southeast MTIC to discuss the implications of the practice of sport. An aerobics session will be held on 13 December, as part of the 3rd Edition of the Great South Christmas Market.

Leadership training for students of IFORHT
Thursday at the request of Ms. Karine Condé, departmental Director South of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Industries, a leadership-training conference win/win, was given by Hérold Gandhi Jean Jacques, trainer and Vice-Delegate of the borough of Les Cayes, to the benefit of students of the Institute of Hotel and Tourism Training (IFORHT). This training day is one of the conferences provided monthly by the Southern Regional Office of Tourism, in order to strengthen the capacity of students of IFORHT before they enter the labor market.

Courtesy visit to the hotel owners of Tabarre
Friday, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism, paid a courtesy visit to the hotel owners of the town of Tabarre. She took the opportunity to hand out escutcheons to the owners of accommodation establishments were classified. The purpose of this visit was to establish contact with these operators in order to have an idea of the type of support that might suit them after the first phase of the classification program. Eductour for French Press
Friday, the Minister of Tourism met with a group of French journalists and news agencies participating in an Éductour in Haiti since November 25 until 2 December. Recall that Eductour consists in trips or promotion tours and of information, conducted by "travel manufacturers" and offered free to travel agencies and tour operators. The aim is to make test the formula to professionals for several days, while encouraging them to propose it then to their customers. n this case, the Eductour aims to make discover Haiti in the French and European media.
