Haiti - Politic : For Lavalas, the de facto regime, concretizes the project to establish a dictatorship
Monday in a statement, the Political Organization Fanmi Lavalas, which presents itself as the "representative of the majority of the Haitian people" and "A leader of the moderate opposition", especially critical the repression and police violence during the popular demonstrations, stressing that a rule of law "implies respect for freedom of expression."

But Fanmi Lavalas places particular emphasis on the implementation of the new consensus governmen that it describes as "De facto regime, that concretizes the project to establish a dictatorship."

"[...] The rule of law implies above all respect for the Constitution. Fanmi Lavalas rejects violence and extremist position taken by the de facto government. The rupture of the constitutional order and the violation of the law mother plunge the country into illegality. After years of struggle, the people of Haiti is found once again under a de facto regime that concretizes the project to establish a dictatorship.

The Constitution and democratic principles in all civilized countries, establish for all citizens, the duty to resist and fight oppression that vehicle dictatorship.

Also, Us, Fanmi Lavalas, condemn the violence wherever it comes from and reaffirm our determination to fight for free, fair and democratic elections are held this year in a climate of peace [...]"
