Haiti - Diplomacy : U.S. Ambassador visited the Minister Casimir 27/01/2015 08:38:05
This visit, qualified of courtesy by the Ministry was the occasion for the American diplomat to congratulate the new Minister of Justice for his new role and to reiterate its willingness to cooperate with the Minister Casimir and give him all the support needed to accomplish its mission. In particular, Ambassador White has promised the support of the U.S Government to the judges certification process, which was jointly launched by the Ministry of Justice and Public Safety and the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ). She also says willing to help to the computerization of the Haitian penal system, which will promote a better management of various criminal cases across the country. The Casimir Minister, for his part, thanked the Ambassador for the United States assistance to improve the Haitian judicial system and renewed his commitment to work towards a better functioning of the judiciary.
