Evans Paul, did not fail to recall the concepts of commitment and responsibility that remain, for him the key words of the historical circumstances of the time. Too, he solemnly enjoined his collaborators in the government and the electoral advisers "to apply at work, by always having as compasses the Constitution and laws of the Republic."

For his part, the Minister Delegate, Jean Fritz Jean Louis, recognized, among others, that his mission is to facilitate the smooth running of the electoral process by acting as interface between the government, the CEP, actors and political parties, the Haitian people and the international community. Excerpts from the speech of Evans Paul :

"[...] I have never hidden during my decades of participation in the political life of the country, the importance I attach to electoral processes which are the major translations of the vitality of a democratic system [...]

During the discussions on the formation of the current cabinet, the President of the Republic, in agreement with myself and other stakeholders, concluded that the creation of this position would be a tremendous asset to arrive at the next election so expected by the Haitian people, political actors and international partners. Personally, I bet on this structure that will help ensure that the electoral law is validated, respected and enforced.

Dear Fritz Jean-Louis,
Your youth and your ability to put your skills to the service of political projects, democratic and reliable comfort me. You know the wide state of the political situation and better than anyone, you are imbued with your duty, your responsibility to get to work with the fiercely you know to show, to contribute to the next election and for they are transparent. We are in an emergency situation and the country awaits availability and effectiveness.

[...] We will work together. This collaboration will be better every time we consent to bring us in terms of finality caring. We are servants of the same project, and I rely on you to generate all possible constructive activities. This is my idea of public action.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I conclude my intervention convinced that the Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister for electoral matters will be a major element in the near electoral process and will allow a better articulation between voters, politicians, state officials and international partners involved in the process [...]"
