Haiti - Technology : Inauguration of 2 computer labs in Cornillon/Grand-Bois
Thursday, as part of the Universal Schooling Program Free and Compulsory (PSUGO), the President Michel Martelly, in the presence among others of, Jean Marie Guillaume, Director of the National Council of Telecommunications (CONATEL), local authorities and several hundred students and local residents proceeded with the inauguration, two computer labs in the town of Cornillon/Grand-Bois [West Department], one at the National School of Cornillon and the other at the Lycée Amboise Toussaint.

Each lab is equipped with more than twenty modern computers, powered by a solar electric power system and batteries

In his speech, the Head of State invited the public to protect these equipment made available to young people of the community. He also reiterated the commitment of his administration to improve the Haitian education system, emphasizing the efforts of the government in order to get out the commune of Cornillon of the isolation.
