Haiti - Elections : Prime Minister Paul thanked the international community
Thursday, Prime Minister Evans Paul, held a high-level meeting with key partners and international donors on the harmonization of budget financing and the electoral calendar, the implementation of a security plan for the elections.

This meeting which was attended in particular by Pierre Richard Casimir, the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Jean Fritz Jean-Louis, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister in charge of electoral matters, of representatives of the European Union, the Core Group and the Canadian Ambassador Paula Caldwell St-Onge, the Spanish Ambassador Manuel Lorenzo García-Ormaechea, the Ambassador of France, Elisabeth Beton Delègue and of United States of America Pamela A. White, has allowed the Head of Government to renew the commitment of the administration Martelly/Paul to accompany the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) throughout the process towards the organization of inclusive elections, honest, free and democratic and to thank the international community for its support in this electoral process.

The Prime Minister took the opportunity to reassure the national and international public opinion that no change will disturb the smooth process already set in motion because he said, "the most important for us at Government, is to have legitimate authorities in early 2016, according to the dates and Constitutional deadlines, with the aim of producing a steady political climate conducive to the improvement of the living conditions of the population."
