This center that meets international standards, has an accommodation facilities of more than 300 families and is equipped with modern facilities (health, cooking gas etc...) guaranteeing the temporarily displaced, convenience and security. Serge Chéry, the Departmental Delegate of the West, who held talks with the Minister stressed the importance of this center, which just meet the expectations of a large part of the population exposed to floods especially in the rainy season On the sidelines of his visit, Rothchild François Jr. pointed out, that this modern shelter, reflected the will of the President Martelly to put at the disposal of the population, infrastructure that can be used in case of major natural hazards.
