Yves Rose Morquette, the Minister of MCFDF expressed concern about verbal and physical violence whose are all too often victims of women candidates during elections. She indicated that the Ministry together with the Minustah and the National Police of Haiti (PNH) is considering a strategy to protect women. Too late to correct new errors on the ballots The Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) reminded parties, political groups and candidates in particular that the ballots models validation period ended Saturday, June 20, 2015. Given the demands made for the production of models and the printing of ballots, the CEP is not able to meet any new demand relative to the change of images or emblems of candidates of parties or political groupings.
