Haiti - Education : Monitoring of the reconstruction progress of Lycée Alexandre-Pétion
About two years after the start of reconstruction (in two phases) of Lycée Alexandre-Pétion, whose the Ministry of Public Works is the prime contractor, https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-10032-haiti-education-the-lycees-petion-and-toussaint-an-important-step-towards-modernity.html , the level of progress of the project is estimated at over 60% today.

Covering an area of 9,400 m2, the Lycée Alexandre Pétion who will celebrate in 2016 its 200 years of existence, will be housed in a building that respects the strictest building standards. It will have 23 classrooms for the secondary section and 16 classrooms for the primary section. It will also include among others: a modern language laboratory, a laboratory of chemistry and physics, a computer lab, a library and playgrounds.

This historical heritage that formed so many men and women politicians, high-level executives will be able to open its doors in new premises at the beginning of the academic year 2015/2016 due to the efforts made by the administration of President Martelly.
