The elections in figures
The elections that should be held in August and December 2015, will allow to elect 6,000 officials at all levels, including 1,280 in local governments, 140 municipal councils, 139 seats in parliament and a new president.

Approximately 41,000 candidates are campaigning for elections: presidential, legislative, municipal and local. The elections it is also 6 million voters, 1,600 voting centers, 13,500 polling stations, 41,000 employee of polling station, 42,000 electoral kits and 60 million ballot.

The elections will cost 74.1 million dollars, whose 43 million have been received and engaged. It currently lacks 31.1 million which it distributed as follows: 4.3 million for the electoral participation and technical assistance to the National Archives, 4.3 million for transportation and logistics and 22.5 million for the electoral process.

Thomas Adams, the Special Adviser to the US State Department for Haiti told front a congressional sub-committee, headed by Senator from Florida, Marco Rubio "We hope the elections will be held in early August (August 9) for all institutions can operate. In addition, the United States pledged to provide an additional contribution of $ 9 million, Brazil 1 million and Norway 400,000 US dollars. These additional funds of 14.4 million, will bring to $59 million the amount already available for the organization of elections (15.1 million are still missing).
