Haiti - Culture : Wyclef Jean has thrilled Montreal 21/07/2015 09:54:38
When Jean arrived on scene, the cheering crowd gave him a grand welcome in a chorus of shrill cry of applause and ovations. From the first notes of "Ready or Not" the public made one, jumping in the air and keeping pace with the arms while chanting the name of Wyclef. Throughout the evening, the atmosphere has continued to grow progressively as Wyclef Jean played teh Hits of his career both in solo as among Fugees. From "No Woman," "No Cry" to "Killing Me Softly" through "Gone Till November", fans of Wyclef Jean, sang in chorus with their idol, vibrating the Place des Festivals. At the program of the Festival from 20 to 25 July: carnival, rara parade in the street, crafts, music, literature, dance and gastronomy. All offered free of charge to raise awareness of the Haitian culture.
