This first shipment included 8,608 boxes of ballots (excluding ballots of West Department), 4,045,760 ballots for the senatorial and 4,045,760 ballots for the election of deputies. In total 8,091,520 votes were delivered to the CEP. Pierre Louis Opont, the President of the Provisional Electoral Council, present at the scene for receiving these sensitive materials, said he was confident for the holding of legislative elections on 9 August. HL/ HaïtiLibre / Guyto Mathieu (Correspondant Petit-Goâve) Training of electoral supervisors The Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) inform the general public, political parties, political groups, in particular, that training sessions for principal supervisors and their deputies, are planned in all departments from July 27 to August 2, 2015 according to the following schedule : Monday 27 and Tuesday, July 28 : Grand ‘Anse ; Nippes ; South and Southeast. Wednesday 29, Thursday 30 and Friday, July 31 : Artibonite ; Centre ; North; North East; North West. Saturday 1st and Sunday, August 2 : West I and West II. The people concerned are requested to present to the various BED, to inquire about the progress of these training sessions. Furthermore, in accordance with Articles 11 and following of the Electoral Decree of March 2, 2015, the CEP publishes the List of electoral supervisors responsible for managing the voting centers under the supervision of the Communal Electoral Offices (BEC). This list can be consulted at the headquarters of the institution in Petion-ville, at the Directorate of elections on the road of Frères at #133, and in all Departmental Electoral Offices (BED) and Communal Electoral Offices (BEC) in the country .
