Haiti - Reconstruction : Progress of the new road «Pont 9» (North)
Sunday Rothchild François Jr., the Spokesperson of the Government, visited the site of the new two-lane road "Pont 9", which will connect the boulevard until Carrefour of the International Airport Hugo Chavez, Cap-Haitien.

This new road once completed, will help decongest the main roads of the city of Cap-Haitien in this sector and also facilitate access to large-tonnage trucks to transport goods for export from Caracol, to the Port of Cap.

François Jr., who met with the Interim Executive Agent Yvon Alteon, was wable to seen the good progress of this very important road infrastructure for the entire population of the great North.

Moreover, the expansion work of the Port of Cap-Haïtien are progressing well. This infrastructure once renovated will accommodate more commercial vessels for export products from the Caracol Industrial Park and contribute to the economic development of the North.
