Call to the impartiality and neutrality of all judicial actors
In a circular, Pierre Richard Casimir, the Minister of Justice and Public Security reminds the Government Commissioners near the Courts of First Instance in all jurisdictions of the country, and Judicial Police Officers (OPJ) that "the impartiality and neutrality duty applies to all judicial actors involved in the electoral process in one way or another, at one level or another; in accordance with the Constitution and the electoral decree.

The Ministry emphasizes to the attention of judicial actors in question that in any case, they must apply strictly the law against all odds without any consideration relating to the popularity of the candidate or his political or doctrinal belonging, as well as the choice of the voters, the ideological positioning or preference to any other person who is involved, even to a lesser degree, in the electoral process.

The Ministry of Justice and Public Security relies on the sense of responsibility and civic duty of all Parquetiers and Officers of Judicial Police for the proper conduct of elections throughout the national territory."


Minister responsible for electoral matters concerned about electoral violence
Jean Fritz Jean-Louis, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister responsible for electoral matters was concerned by the current surge of violence in the context of the electoral campaign, announcing a meeting with officials of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) and of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) to try to find solutions to this problem.
