Haiti - Petit-Goâve : VERITE and PHTK make Peace
Wednesday, Germain Alexandre-Fils, candidate for deputy of Petit-Goâve under the banner of the platform VERITE (#69) and Jacques Stevenson Thimoléon, a candidate to succeed himself under the banner of PHTK (#5), pledged solemnly before the members of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), to work for the establishment of a climate of Peace in Petit-Goâve during the electoral period.

The two men shook hands as a sign of reconciliation. A gesture that owes nothing to a sudden surge of voluntary and spontaneous Peace, but came after Pierre-Louis Opont, the President of the CEP has warned the two candidates " If your supporters commit acts of violence in Petit-Goâve, endangering the electoral process in this area, the CEP will be in the obligation to withdraw you from the electoral race."

The two strong men of Petit-Goâve Thursday jointly will give a press conference at the Fort Royal Hotel to renew their commitment.
