Pierre-Richard Casimir also urged the Government Commissioners to pass formal instructions to Peace judges who, as officers of the judicial police are under their control for inter alia ask them to make themselves available for the electoral day , to draw up the minutes in all cases where they are required and to not act in favor of anyone. After the meeting, the present Commissioners confirmed that significant steps have been taken in their respective jurisdictions and that they will strengthen them in the light of the new guidelines issued by the Minister.
