Haiti - Politic : Call to the binational dialogue between truckers federations 14/08/2015 11:14:39

Measures decided by the CTF : The Commission proposes to Haitian transporters unions to engage in constructive dialogue with the Federation of Dominicans of carriers FENATRADO to make every effort to find a lasting agreement to ensure regular and smooth flow of traffic between the Republic of Haiti and the Dominican Republic, whether on Malpasse or other transit points for goods and people on the border area in general; The Commission is committed to finding ways and means, together with the National Police of Haiti, the General Administration of Customs, the structures of National Defence, to enhance the safety of vehicles, goods and people in all the border crossing axes. The Commission members also undertake to continue efforts to modernize trans-border transportation structures.
