Electoral day, an organized mess
The political analyst Dismy Cesar desçribes as an organized disorder election day on August 9. He mentioned several shortcomings, including serious irregularities in the distribution of mandates to political parties and denounced serious shortcomings in security for the elections, saying that the police should have been able to control troublemakers. He estimates that the turnout in the elections was low.

Camille Chalmers outraged !
Camille Chalmers, Spokesman of the platform Leve Kanpe is  outraged that foreigners control the electoral process through institutions such as the United Nations Development Programme. He said to be in favor of the recovery by the Haitians of the organization of their elections and proposes the decolonization of the electoral machinery. He also deplores the low turnout of voters and condemns the involvement of youth in acts of violence.

Rene Civil wants a Commission of Inquiry
René Civil, the candidate at Senate for West under the banner "Renmen Ayiti", said he was ready to renounce his own victory to call for the formation of a commission of inquiry into the irregularities recorded during the elections of Sunday, before the cancellation of the elections.

Justice and Peace calls on the CEP
The Episcopal Justice and Peace Commission of the Archdiocese of Port-au-Prince, asked the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) to assume its responsibilities by making a new vote in constituencies where the voting process has been severely disrupted.

The Citizen Observatory disappointed of the 1st round
The Citizen Observatory of Action of Public authorities in Haiti (OCAPH), said it was disappointed with the first round of Sunday's legislative, the Observatory asked the Provisional Electoral Council to learn from this chaotic experience to ensure the credibility of the rest of the process. The OCAPH also lamented the lack of means to facilitate the participation of disabled people in at least 5 departments.
