Haiti - Culture : Carifesta XII, the official program 19/08/2015 12:05:06
Friday before the festival opening ceremony on the Champ de Mars, there will be a parade that will depart from the gymnasium Vincent to lead the Kiosk Occide Jeanty, the artists Emeline Michel, James Germain, Erol Josué, Bethova Obas, Jerrie Longchamp, Carole Demesmin, the Dance School Lynn William Rouzier, the Ballet Bacoulou, Haiti Dansco, Ayiti Chœur de femme, Tabou Combo... will take part in the opening. A ceremony is planned at Kiosk Occide Jeanty, with the presence of President Michel Martelly, Prime Minister Evans Paul and several Heads of State and Government of the Caribbean. Additionally, the organizing committee has innovated for this edition.
