Decisions are final
According to Mosler Georges, Executive Director of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), some qualified candidates for the second round are part of the list of 16 candidates delisted. "Candidates finishing in second or third place will be recovered in the second round when one of qualified candidates has been removed," he explained. Mosler Georges recalled that the list of candidates delisted s provisional, although the "provisional" reference was removed from the final statement, he also said that other candidates risk an exclusion from electoral process, and these decisions are final, stating that even after their entry to Parliament candidates can be sanctioned.

Disapproval of the CEP process
Me Grégory Mayard Paul, a leader of PHTK and presidential adviser disapproved the method used by the CEP to exclude candidates, including those of his party.

A good idea but illegal ?
Lawyers Me Patrick Laurent, Osner Févry and Kedlair Augustin believe that the idea is good that the CEP take sanctions against troublemakers who would be involved in the violence in the elections on 9 August, however Me Osner Fevry condemned firmly that decision he described as illegal "CEP went too fast in trying to please those who demand the implementation of the electoral decree."

Fusion challenges the elections
Fusion Party of Haitian Social Democrats (Fusion) in reaction to election results declared "Fusion had prepared its candidates for free elections, not for the coup ! The party contesting the elections ! Eske tout manb KEP a dakó siyen maskarad sa ? Eske se vre moun kem gen estim pou yo yo siyen sa ? Eske sosyete a pre pou kosyone ke se lajan sal dil dròg kap deside demen pitit nou ? Frankly, you must rebel !"
