45 arrests
Monday, as part of a press conference on the first 3 days of Carifesta XII, Rothchild François Jr., the Minister of Communication said "We thank all PNH who did a great job in this event. 45 people were arrested by the police, the latter were in contravention of the law, for theft and other crimes..."

Four days since the rhythm of the Caribbean vibrates in Haiti. And 6 days left to continue to exchange and makes dialogue all these African ethnic cultures. Film Screenings at MUPANAH
The Directorate General of the Museum of Haitian National Pantheon (MUPANAH) informs the public that the 21 to 30 August 2015, the museum receives visitors every day from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm. Dialogue with the Haitian-American singer, Riva Nyri Precil
Riva Nyri Precil is a young and talented artist who has many interests in singing, dancing, jewelry design and writing children's books. Born in Brooklyn, of an Irish-Russian mother and a Haitian father, his music style can be described as a "Sade or Erykah Badu". This great artist will perform and hold workshops in Port-au-Prince and Jacmel.

Exhibition Leroy Clarcke to Nader Gallery
From 22 to 29 August 2015, the Nader Gallery, exhibits from 6pm the works of Leroy Clarcke, one of the best contemporary artists from Trinidad and Tobago. LeRoy Clarke, born in Belmont, is the first to have received the title of "Master Artist" by the National Museum and Art Gallery of Trinidad and Tobago.

Inauguration of the Museum of the BNE
Monday took place the inauguration of the Museum of the National Bureau of Ethnology (BNE), in the presence of President Michel Martelly, the Secretary General of CARICOM, Irwin Laroque and Ms. Dithny Joan Raton, Minister of Culture, Stéphanie Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism, as well as the Director of the BNE Erol Josué and other officials and members of the organizing committee of Carifesta XII. Come discover incomparable pieces of the Haitian culture. This museum hosts within the Carifesta XII edition an exhibition "Haiti, Land of all beginnings."

The Government of Haiti satisfied
Monday, three days after its launch, the Haitian government expressed its satisfaction for the success of the XII Festival of Caribbean Arts (Carifesta). In a joint press conference, the Ministers of Communication, Culture and Tourism, congratulated the public for its participation in large numbers in the various events taking place in Port-au-Prince and in provincial towns "the various delegations participating in the event are satisfied with the welcome from the airport to the site. Everything is going very well so far," said the Minister of Tourism, Villedrouin.
