On Monday, President Michel Martelly visited the artists Kalfou Rich Ayiti at thekiosk 73 Îlot J of the Grand Village Market https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-14933-haiti-culture-some-news-of-carifesta-xii.html Kalfou Rich Ayiti artists have enjoyed the visit of the Head of State which looked with great interest and enthusiasm the magifiques works of our Haitian artists.

Show « 21 Nanchon » by Erol Josué at Triomphe
Tuesday, viewers who chose the program of heatre Cinema Triomphe, were entitled from 8pm to 10pm to a show masterfully orchestrated by the artist Erol Josue and a host of talented young players.

The show, "21 Nanchon" knew how to thrill an audience among which notably was, the Ministers of Culture, Joan Raton Dithny and Communication, Rothchild François Jr, many artists and several members of the Organizing Committee of the Festival Carifesta XII.

As for the stars, we noticed in the room, some pearls of Haitian music like Emeline Michel, James Germain, Eddy François...

« Living his body in the ground post-slavery »
Monday, Patricia Donatien, a native of Martinique, presented to the audiovisual room of the Museum of Haitian National Pantheon (MUPANAH) a conference entitled "Living his body in the ground post-slavery". Ms. Donatien is Lecturer at the University of the French West Indies and Guiana, and specialist in literature and Caribbean art. Her highly appreciated lecture was followed by a rich debate.

The exhibition « Haiti : Land of all Beginnings » is launched
After the press conference held at the Grand Market, the Ministers of Communication, Rotchild François Jr, the Ministry of Culture Haiti, Dithny Joan Raton, of Tourism, Stéphanie Villedrouin have visited the National Bureau of Ethnology, for the inauguration of the cultural exhibition entitled "Haiti : Land of all Beginnings" by President Michel Martelly https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-14943-haiti-culture-some-news-of-carifesta-xii.html

It was also an opportunity for the delegation to visit the various works exhibited at the BNE and also exchange with Dr. Jacques Bangou, mayor of Pointe-à-Pitre and also Vice-President of the Community Cap-Excellence (Guadeloupe).

Monday and Tuesday was held the Symposium at the National Library of Haiti under the theme "The Caribbean, a collective memory" The speakers were: Panel 1: Lyonel Trouillot, Earl Lovelace, Pierre- Michel Chery ; Panel 2: Renaud Govin, Ena Eluther, Benjamin Franklin and Al Creiton.
