Detailed report on the electoral fiasco
With 1,500 observers deployed throughout the country in 728 voting centers, the National Defense Network Human Rights (RNDDH), the National Election Observation Council (CNO) and the Haitian Council of Non State Actors (CONHANE) denounce without complacency in a detailed report of over 50 pages, the elections on August 9 they describe as electoral fiasco. Demonstration at BCED West 1
Wednesday, at the first day, the hearings of the Electoral Tribunal at the Office of Departmental Electoral Disputes (BCED) West 1 have been interrupted by protesters close of some candidates. Me André Michel, presidential candidate of the platform of the radical opposition JISTIS, requires of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) the cancellation of elections in the departments of West, Artibonite and North.
