In an open letter to the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) Charles Henri Baker, candidate for the presidency under the banner of the Party "RESPE" written "The party RESPE has a Senate candidate and 7 candidates for the deputation challenged, they expect the results to date. There is also the issue of two thousand five hundred (2,500) RESPE candidates to the Local communities waiting to be approved. The RESPE party, following the publication of our electoral timetable had planned a campaign strategy that depends on the results of legislative elections and of our candidates for local government. Without the expected results of electoral disputes and the publication of the list of candidates approved for the local authorities, the party is obliged not to begin its campaign." RESPÈ is not the only party in this case... while the CEP pushes every day the publication of the results of the first round...

Missed appointment with political parties...
Tuesday the meeting to be held between the CEP and the political parties could not be held due to lack of planning. Following this failure, the CEP informed the general public, political parties, candidates and political groups in particular, it will hold a new meeting with the legal representatives of political parties, Friday, September 18, 2015, at the Ritz Kinam II, Petion-ville, as of 10:00 am

"The executive board of each political party must nominate two representatives to this meeting. The agenda of that meeting will include: Measures taken by the CEP to improve the election of October 25 and changes to the electoral timetable and managing of representatives.

The Haitian National Front, which brings together some fifty political parties called for the negotiation of a new political agreement on a formula to replace the CEP and Prime Minister Evans Paul.
