The Senate candidate (West), Jean Renel Senatus aka "Zokiki" under the banner LIDE, "attacked" the president of the CEP, Pierre Louis Opont, which has challenged the recommendation of BCED to proclaim him winner in the first round. Me André Michel, presidential candidate of JUSTIS said "this CEP is discredited and no longer has the moral authority to carry out free, fair and democratic elections in the country [...] The conditions are not met for there to be good elections in the country. We demand the resignation of members of the electoral council and teh creation of the necessary political conditions for holding good elections. This is our struggle [...] We will fight to the end.
