Haiti - Presidential 2015 : Steven Benoit, program and promises...
The program of Steven Benoit, presidential candidate under the banner of the platform "Konviksyon" is based on five pillars :

First pillar: A State, efficient, transparent and at the service of citizen, which includes the fight against corruption, building citizenship, justice and public safety;

Second pillar: The competitiveness and the creation of wealth and jobs including as triggers: agriculture and agribusiness, livestock and fishing, energy and infrastructure, tourism, light industry (Small and Medium Industry - SMI), construction and housing, the other factors "doing business" and the fight against the high cost of living and against hunger.

Third pillar: basic social services, including education, training, health and family planning, safe water and sanitation, social protection and prevention of risks and disasters.

Fourth Pillar: Environment and Spatial Planning, which included watershed management and reforestation, preservation of endemic species and biodiversity, water resources management, land use and urban planning, building development poles, development of rural areas of habitat, identification of land and land reform, gender issues and the inclusion of vulnerable persons and decentralization.

Fifth pillar: The inclusion of the Diaspora and the Regional and International Cooperation, which can be summarized in international cooperation.

For Steven Benoît, the tax burden currently estimated at about 10%, should increase 20 to 25% in the next five years. If elected he promises to be transparent and is committed to fight corruption in all its forms, to make his declaration of assets the day after his swearing and will require its 15 ministers do the same.

He also promised a transparent budget and significant reforms in public administration to achieve the targets set in the budget

In terms of education he promises to build five university centers in five cities across the country, which will provide, among other academic and vocational training of quality at every son of the country. He also intend by measures, straighten quality of the Haitian education system by taking into account the actual claims of teachers in the system.
