Haiti - Politic : Aristide calls for mobilization and disobedience
Wednesday after the rally on the "piste de l’aviation" to commemorate the 24th anniversary of the coup against President Aristide, thousands militants and supporters of the former President, gathered outside his residence in Tabarre, chanting, singing and waving photos of the former President, to hear the speech of their leader, speaking in public for the first time after 3 years of silence.

Jean Bertrand Aristide, after having qualified of coup the first round of elections on 9 August, qualified authors of "mentally ill" and explained that in language Swahili "Ayiti" meant disobeying, he called for a general mobilization and disobedience under the applause of a crowd delirious "Ayiti, jodi a di nou pa obeyi moun ki pa respekte dwa moun, pa obeyi esklav mantal nan koudeta elektoral, pa obeyi esklav mantal ki refize respekte vòt pèp la. Tout moun se moun, vòt tout moun dwe konte."

Jean-Bertrand Aristide called on the population to vote for his dafor upine aryse Narcisse, the presidential candidate of
Haiti Fanmi Lavalas.
