OPL denounces a "Machiavellian" Plan
In a note, OPL draws attention of public opinion on the preparation of a "Machiavellian plan orchestrated from the centers of State power to create confusion and disorder this Sunday, October 25th, by dressing their violent supporters of the colors and numbers of opponents [...] especially in the departments of Centre, Artibonite, West, North and South-East"

The Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) inform the persons with disabilities, in application of Articles 9, 92.1, 115, 157, 157.1 of the Electoral Decree guaranteeing them the enjoyment of their civil and political rights, it has adopted measures to facilitate the participation of this category of voters in the election of 25 October 2015. These measures, among others, are: The choice of the most accessible voting centers; the inclusion of disability issues in the civic education campaign; respect of the quota of 2% in the recruitment of electoral information agents and the establishment of orienteers in the voting centers to facilitate access for voters with disabilities to polling stations.

The Council requests the full cooperation of the electoral staff to respect the rights of citizens with disabilities and to offer them the support required on the day of the vote, in a spirit of solidarity.

The Episcopal Church invites citizens to vote massively
The Episcopal Church of Haiti invites the citizens of the country to participate massively in the elections this Sunday. It calls the police authorities to ensure the security of the voting centers and voters and CEP to take all measures to make available all the necessary materials for the proper conduct of the elections and to ensure that the results truly reflect the truly the will of the Haitian people.

Disabled people trained as observers
As part of the partnership between the Office of the Secretary of State for Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH), the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) and the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), of disabled people have been trained as auditor of general elections of 25 October. These auditors from six departments of the country, West, North, Central, South, Artibonite and Grande-Anse, have the mission to observe the voting process and diagnose the accessibility of the process at all levels : accessibility of voting centers and polling stations, polling materials, among others, and the participation of disabled citizens.
