Haiti - Elections : The G8 met the CEP 17/11/2015 08:50:43
Monday afternoon the 8 presidential candidates from the opposition (G8) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-15665-haiti-elections-8-candidates-call-for-the-creation-of-an-independent-commission.html who demand the formation of an independent commission of inquiry, to assess the results of the first round of the presidential election of October 25, 2015, participated in the CEP offices in a closed-door meeting which lasted over two hours.
After the meeting, Samuel Madistin (MOPOD) unofficial spokesman of the G8, explained that after a setting in situation made by Pierre-Louis Opont it was discussed mainly the establishment of an independent commission to assess the electoral process and also issues of general interest.

The CEP that took no decision during the meeting, met after the meeting, in plenary session and should according the electoral adviser, publicly pronounce on Tuesday on the formation or not of this Commission.
