Haiti - FLASH : Accident of Prime Minister, official clarifications
Following the traffic accident suffered by Prime Minister Evans Paul Wednesday, November 25 at around 9:00 pm on the road of Bourdon near the Métreaux street https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-15879-icihaiti-flash-evans-paul-victim-of-an-accident.html the communications office of the Primature in a note informs the public that in the meantime to make a medical diagnosis, the Prime Minister "appears in good health".

The note state "that the accident was caused by a vehicle traveling at high speed towards Petionville that struck violently one in which was the Prime Minister."

Leaving the scene of the accident, the Head of Government has secured arrangements to enable the driver of the vehicle that collided with his, to go to the hospital with one of the agents who accompanied him. According to the first medical report, the health status of the driver is stable.

The Government Commissioner accompanied by a justice of the peace and a clerk as well as relevant service of the Office of Insurance Against Third Vehicles (OAVCT) conducted the legalobservation.

"Prime Minister Evans Paul wishes to express its deepest gratitude to His Excellency the President Joseph Michel Martelly and Jean Henry Céant who rushed to call him to testify their sympathies few minutes after the accident. Mr. Paul takes this opportunity to thank all those who, at the same time that, expressed their solidarity towards him."
